The Blindsight sidequel hasn't been published. The agent hasn't finished looking at it. Hell, it hasn't even been edited yet.

It has however been written.

"Have officially started writing Dumbspeech. Completed the first draft of the Prelude just yesterday. God, it sucks."

Boy, my "rampant_awesome" tag is getting a serious workout these days, innit?

By putting up Behemoth (in it's unified entirety, no less), Peter Watts has (at last!) put up the complete Rifters Trilogy on his site. Copy of Blindsight just arrived. Amazon is slower than I remember, maybe because it's Christmas season; increased product load etc.

Seeing as Blindsight might very well not be going into a second printing after all (Goddamn it, Tor), there might not *be* a paperback edition. So I just ordered a hardcover copy via Amazon while the getting's still good.

Well, whaddaya know? It's October now and you know what that means, right? It means, Battlestar Galactica is back on the air, the leaves are going out in a blaze of bright brilliant necrosis and, most important of all, we i.e. you can now hold the dead-tree version of Blindsight in your own two hands!
